Paintbrush
Archaeologists use paintbrushes to sweep away loose soil and sand as they are excavating. Much of the excavation in Nubia is done with paintbrushes because there is a lot of loose sand to move. It's important to use brushes with good bristles -- they get old and bent quickly.
